The 2nd Year 'SWITCH' show is coming up...

... and my mate Matt Cornelius and myself were asked to make the invitation for it.

It had to be a flash invite and we came up with some substantial design suggestions,

we did not work in a team as our tutor told us to come up with as many different ideas as possible.

After a chat with Ray, our tutor, we decided on two design ideas. One each.

We only had a couple of days to actually turn the thought into something real, using flash.

As competitions are, only one of them could go further, luckily it was mine, I was quite pleased with it.

As the weather begins to warm up, a new fashion mood is blossoming at H&M.

This spring will see a women's collection of floral and feminine fashion in sustainable materials.

"We are extremely proud of our Garden Collection for women, which has organic and recycled materials in every single garment," said Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design at H&M.

"The mix of floral printsand khaki classics works brilliantly for day to evening wear.

I particularly like the sheer floral ruffle dress, the drawstring khaki jacket and the beautiful red rose bustier dress."

There is also a selection of garments in sustainable materials in the men's department.

"There are some real highlights to look forward to," said Ann-Sofie, "like the super-smart organic cotton slim-fit suit worn over a crisp gingham shirt."

Business Card Design

I came up with a business card design last year, finally got it printed. I even printed a few on metal, well, vinyl on aluminium as a kind of limited edition for special occasions.

That's me hanging on the corner by the way =) anyway, I need to come up with a new design as my whole 'CI' changes in about a weeks time.

Come on creativity, come oooon...

Sustainable: Me?

This was a few weeks project in University.

Sustainable Graphic Design, Information Pack from Designers for the Design Industry.

The principles of Sustainable Design are Reducing, Reusing & Recycling whilst considering People, Planet & Profit.

It is sort of Green Design, Environmental friendly including worldwide Design Standards such as FSC and ISO14001.

Amazing Business Card Designs

I've found a couple of rather nice business card ideas on the web, thought it's worth to mention them in my blog. Enjoy.

he also does it with his business card.

Quite nice to be honest, that can avoid an argument

and saves the lawyer double printing costs!

Now the owner knows how to manage it!
